Wow... I am very very slow. It was only today that I managed to read "Paved With Good Intentions", that was written by Colin and Joycelyn Goh in 2000. It's still a very powerful read though things have changed a fair bit since then. However, the principles behind it are still the same. Of course a lot of us may not agree with it since each and every individual's circumstances are different. For example mine; I think the authors and I come from very different social and economic background that would translate into very different realities, possibilities and dreams. But the basic idea of being true to oneself is still there.

And I like this line from a bus advertisement that they quoted in the above article:

        "We spend all our youth chasing money, and when we attain it, we spend all our money chasing youth." (scary right?)
